On one-hand, food packaging can mitigate food waste, which accounts for 7% of global greenhouse gas emissions, the main driver of climate change.
On the other, food packaging waste makes up 70% of the world’s marine litter, which has negative health impacts to humans and the environment.
On top of this, everyone involved is motivated by money.
And our first step needs to be very simple.
But we wouldn’t be here if we didn’t think we could solve this.
